The Class Gift is a unique tradition and opportunity for the Class of 2020 to come together and establish a lasting legacy, one that reflects your school pride for Miami Dade College and your desire to support future MDC Sharks. Celebrate your success and begin your legacy by making a gift of $20.20 or more. As a thank you gift, receive a limited-edition alumni stole to wear at your Commencement ceremony as a symbol of your gratitude and commitment to support MDC. The class of 2019 made history by raising $19K in class gifts to support MDC Sharks like you. Take the challenge to beat them! Make your gift today and help your class set a new record. Remember, MDC Sharks never back down!
Why should I donate?
You and many of your classmates have benefited from previous graduating classes giving generously, so more MDC Sharks can succeed. Donating to this campaign will continue the graduating students’ tradition of giving back with a real and impactful gift. Every gift counts and all gifts make a difference.
Where do the Class Gift funds go?
The funds raised from the class gift program supports students in need who may not be able to afford the expenses that come with an education. Your gift ensures students who come after you can have the same opportunity and access to a high-quality education.
How do I pick up my alumni stole?
After making your class gift, there are three ways of picking up your stole:
1. Visit the MDC Office of Alumni Relations at the MDC Wolfson Campus at 300 N.E. 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33132, Room 1423. Office hours 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.
2. Attend your upcoming Grad Rally and stop by the Class Gift table.
3. Attend your MDC Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 2, and stop by the Class Gift table inside the student check-in area.
